Tax Preparer/Accountant

Heike Wealth Management is looking for a tax preparer to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone that has experience with tax preparation to take over an existing accounting practice and grow both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual, business, and corporate tax returns - Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the tax preparation process - Utilize accounting software to accurately input and analyze financial data - Stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings - Assist with general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and financial statement preparation - Collaborate with team members to resolve any tax-related issues or questions Requirements: - Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience in tax preparation - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Sage -CPA or EA Preferred - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations - Ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service - Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology related to tax preparation - Previous experience as a tax preparer or in a similar role is preferred Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
