*Job Type:* Full-time (hourly)
*Pay:* The rate of pay is based on experience.
Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit on Fridays.
*Schedule:* Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch or 5 PM with an hour lunch.
This position requires 40+ hours a week depending on workload.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Perform day-to-day tasks in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
* Prepare and post journal entries according to accounting principles and company policies.
* Prepare financial statements and assist in analyzing.
* Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
* Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
* Help in establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
* Accurate and timely filing of all taxes.
* Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and laws.
* Other projects and duties assigned by the Accounting Manager.

*Qualifications and Requirements*
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
* Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
* Experience in payroll processing and understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools.
* Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
