Position Purpose:
The Pepin County Accounting Clerk performs a range of accounting and bookkeeping functions according to standard accounting practices, along with general reception & clerical support duties, and personnel support functions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting; along with working knowledge & experience with accounting practices, office terminology, procedures, routines, equipment, Business Math and English is preferred, other degrees will be considered with equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting will be given preferential consideration.
Ability to work as a team player, collaborator, and positive communication skills with consumers and peers in the workplace.
Proficiency in personal computer use with Microsoft Office and Accounting Software
Good written and oral communications skills, thoroughness, and dependability
