Vintage ACME STEEL CO Banding/Strapping Tool.

These Original Acme Steel Co banders/strappers are extremely RARE and hard to find!!!
This is a hand held, "pistol grip" style, banding, strap tensioner tool, which is in exceptional condition.
You can be assured that no one makes tools to this caliber anymore! It was definitely made heavy duty and industrial strength!
It was manufactured in 1932, which was one of the first tools Acme Steel Co manufactured.
The original decals are on the one side (a small scratch across but still legible).

Patent date is 1932.
It is also stamped along right side, bottom edge C1204C.
The other side has the "oil" hole; stamped OIL, below there it's stamped S 13801.
The gears and teeth function great, as they were intended to.
It ratchets open, and maintains tension until lever is depressed with thumb.
