*POSITION SUMMARY* Under the general direction of the Buildings and Grounds Superintendent, this position will supervise the Institution’s maintenance program, provide direct supervision to maintenance staff and provide direction in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and institution grounds.
This position will participate in project planning; direct the preventative maintenance, pest control, and grounds programs; determine supply and equipment needs for maintenance; assist with monitoring budget expenditures; conduct health & safety checks/inspections.
Assigned responsibilities include the assignment of security staff and inmate workers to effectively carry out program functions.
The Building and Grounds Supervisor shall comply with the Department’s administrative rules and the agency’s policies and procedures including those related to the Department's overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an inmate’s individual criminogenic needs and risk level.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.
