*Overview:*
Baymont by Wyndham Eau Claire is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join our team.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the housekeeping department.
The ideal candidate will have a background in housekeeping and hotel operations, knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and a passion for detail.
*Responsibilities:*
* Oversee housekeeping staff and ensure that all staff are completing their duties properly and efficiently.
* Motivate and coach team members to be successful in their positions.
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily cleaning efforts to meet guest expectations and ensure that the housekeeping department operates at peak efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
* Oversee the stocking of cleaning supplies and ensure that supplies are always fully stocked.
* Monitor schedule to determine proper staffing
* Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: status of hotel room count, group arrival, VIP’s, special events, and knowledge of job responsibility of staff.
* Ensure that assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly; document any late or absent employees.
* Document call offs, call ins and replace for any shift.
* Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Ensure that all rooms are cleaned according to standard operating procedures per department policy and state or local law.
* Assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards for guests.
* Monitor performance of staff and follow up with corrections when needed.
* Maintain complete knowledge of correct use of equipment and maintenance.
Use equipment only as intended.
* Inspect guest rooms, guest corridors, foyer areas, vending area, service areas including linen closets, storage areas.
Inspect public areas/bathrooms, meeting room and service areas.
Instruct designated personnel to correct deficiencies.
* Perform general housekeeping tasks as assigned by leadership including cleaning the bathrooms, lobby, public areas, stairwells, etc.
(this includes but is not limited to floors, walls, ceilings, appliances etc.
)
* Other duties as assigned by management including inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering supplies when necessary, stocking supply shelves in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness of guest restrooms etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.
50 per hour
