JOB PURPOSE:
Perform functions to maintain current educational accounts while continuing to grow new business with current and new customers, ensuring customer needs are met, and budgeted sales and gross profit objectives are achieved.
This position is 100% remote with residence in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
Occasional travel into the main office in Thorp, WI on a quarterly basis or as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base by planning and executing cold outreach using emails, phone calls, or visits to attract new leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships and trust with existing and potential customers; including understanding and managing the different stakeholders involved.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
Analyze data to ensure margins are balanced in accordance with product line purchases.
Identify and analyze fluctuations in high and low-margin shifts, addressing issues as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and complaints.
Facilitate communication with internal contacts to ensure sales execution and customer satisfaction.
Develop and deliver sales reports and presentations to senior leaders and customers.
Attend trade shows and industry events to build networks and promote the company and products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel time 50% required.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s Degree in Sales or Marketing related field
Experience and/or Training: 3-5 years of experience using, selling, or marketing in an educational environment.
Licenses/Certificates: Driver’s License
Technology/Equipment: Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing related field.
Experience and/or Training: 5-7 years’ experience in outside sales.
Licenses/Certificates:
