Convenience Store Cashier - Augusta

*Primary Objectives of Position:* * Sell, distribute, and market store items and products that will optimize the cooperative’s efficiency * Assist in achieving the cooperative’s mission and goals * Perform tasks with outstanding customer service * Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the facility *Responsibilities of the Position:* * Assist the manager in setting and helping achieve monthly sales goals * Follow all Allied Cooperative, federal, and state policies and procedures * Handle complaints in a timely and appropriate manner * Assist in checking in product deliveries and maintaining stock of products * Operate a cash till and be able to balance cash drawers * Ensure that the facility and equipment remains in good repair and appearance * Maintain a clean and orderly store *Qualifications:* * Be 18 years of age or older * Excellent cash handling skills * Be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis * Be able to stand for a long period of time, bend, kneel, and have good finger and wrist dexterity Job Type: Part-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift * Night shift Weekly day range: * Monday to Friday * Rotating weekends * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
