I have a vintage Atlas wood lathe in excellent condition for sale.
I bought it from the family of the original owner.
I was told that he was a pattern maker by trade and built the steering wheels for the Great Lakes Fleet, turning the spindles on this lathe.
Also included in the sale is a complete set of chisels and some tooling.
The wood lathe as described is priced at $250.
If interested I also have an Atlas bench mount drill press from the same time period.
Works very well.
Priced at $150.
Next I have a very nice Dalton metal Lathe.
It was built in the early 1900's.
I also have an original pair of legs for it.
The person that I bought it from was using it bench mounted.
It has been converted from flat belt to v-belt drive with a Dayton electric motor.
I don't have a mount for the motor, but the variable speed controller is there.
Also included is some tooling, three jaw chuck, extra change gears, etc.
I also have another Dalton lathe very similar to it but a little older.
It has a three jaw chuck also.
I also have the very rare to find counter shaft.
The metal lathes as described are priced at $650.
All pieces listed are in very good condition.
