Equipment Maintenance:
· Perform Preventative Maintenance to existing pieces of equipment, including but not limited to:
o Lubrication
o Bearing/spindle/belt replacement
o Calibration
o Tooling replacement
o Cleaning
o HVAC
o PLC’s
o CNC equipment
· Repair Equipment as needed
o Electronic components of equipment (repair and replace)
o Motor replacement
o Dust collection, electrical, and pneumatic connections
o Large and small pieces of equipment including but not limited to:
§ Routers
§ Panel Saws
§ Widebelt sanders
§ Molders
Equipment Installation/Removal:
· Perform all aspects of equipment installation and removal
o Physically move equipment to desired location
o Alignment/balancing of equipment
o Documentation of operating procedures
o Calibration
Fabrication/Repair of facility/items:
· Welding
· Plumbing
· Electrical
· Structural repairs
Equipment Purchases:
· Work with engineering and perform all aspects of equipment purchases
o Create and adhere to project plans and timelines
o Evaluate and document requirements
o Research available equipment in the market
o Create appropriate capital expenditure requests with proper justification
o Prepare Request for Quote packets
o Forecast entire project costs prior to implementation/purchases
o Monitor/assist with project in its entirety, from research, purchase, installation, training, placed in service
Maintenance/Housekeeping
· Maintain cleanliness of the facility/area and observe 5S Practices
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations to minimizing shut downs.
Safety (done in conjunction with all activities)
· Report any safety concerns to your supervisor immediately.
· Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
· Attend all mandatory safety training.
Other
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Ability to travel up to 10% of the scheduled work time
must have valid driver's license and ability to maintain it.
