Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Electrical panel building.
Electrical and general equipment installation and planning.
Performing preventative maintenance and general repairs.
Performing special projects and other duties as directed by the Electrical Engineer.
Providing rotational on-call support (approximately 2 weeks in every 12 weeks).
Using Autodesk AutoCAD.
Measuring physical dimensions of machinery and creating drawings.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Installing, upgrading, modifying, and working on various types of electrical systems Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical systems.
Perform repair or replacement on faulty electrical elements of equipment including motors, relays, and switches Identify when external contractor/vendor is needed, and work in collaboration with contractor/vendor to complete work Model, implement, and comply with electrical safety rules and related industry regulations Define and follow Standard Operating Procedures for repair of electrical systems Comply with all AIB and BRC Standards, Safety Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in electromechanical technology, electrical/electronic technology, mechanical technology or plastics technology.
Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience preferred.
Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities, troubleshooting, and sound decision making.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside the Maintenance department.
Solid technical/mechanical aptitude Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Basic computer knowledge Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Physical Work and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their shift on a cement production floor.
The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel.
The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
