Machine Operator
Location: Eau Claire, WI
Pay: $20.
95/hour
Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM Monday- Friday *overtime may be required

What you will be doing:
Ensure all safety, quality, and operating procedures are followed at all times.
Assist in physical inventory at month end, year-end, and during audits.
Dispose of scrap by disposing, or storing in designated area as required.
Must efficiently and effectively follow all manufacturing instructions required for each job.
Maintain all manufacturing and QA specifications for each job.
Closely follow all manufacturing instructions: CQS, product print, production packet, etc.
Maintain and document quality checks confirming specifications for each job ran, including 1st piece and periodic checks.
Accurately report production data: piece count, times, work order #, etc.
and maintain records as required.
Take required measurements using a tape measure, or other measuring device or gauge, and work from drawings, prints, and specs as required.
Maintain equipment as directed and document operator preventive maintenance performed for Maintenance department records.
Make efficient setups and be able to operate all equipment, and assist others with setup/operation on other production equipment.
Perform machine/line adjustments necessary to produce quality product.
Trim parts if necessary using saw, or other method per safe practices.
Pack finished parts and WIP in cartons, units, pallets, and carts, as appropriate and properly distribute and identify with designated methods.
Maintain good housekeeping practices.
Communicate all quality, personnel, machine, and tool issues to Supervisor immediately.
Assisting with other duties as assigned.

Previous experience in packing/warehousing is required.
Must pass forklift operation and safety training and obtain certification.
You need to possess a “get it done” attitude and a sense of urgency to resolve any problems/tasks.
To succeed in this position, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
You must be able to perform all physical requirements, including but not limited to bending, lifting, stretching, stooping, reaching, and working in ambient summertime temperatures.
Having the ability to effectively work with other team members in a continuous paced environment.
You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
You will need to able to perform various duties, including stretch wrapping, printing of production labels, filling out various paperwork used for quality control and shipping purposes.
You will need to have the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of prioritization of job tasks and attention to detail.
Prior forklift experience is required.
Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
