We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing Material Handler 2.
This is a 2nd shift role (Mon-Fri night 3pm -11am) with a starting rate of 22.
88 per hour with a 6% shift premium.
Job Summary:
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Ability to use SAP functions to complete inventory transactions.
Ability to set-up and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
Responsible for using proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures.
Responsible for performing housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Ability to embrace change and respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities.
Assist others in troubleshooting system issues and train other associates; May be an informal leader or trainer.
Assist in coordinating priority orders for picking, receiving, or shipping.
Ability to operate with minimal supervision and collaborate with other functions.
Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 10-20 hours of standard hours of overtime/week.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 2 year of verified related experience
