Chip Magnet Salsa is currently seeking a production line worker.
Hours are generally M-F between 7am and 5pm (usually an eight hour shift within those hours).
Duties include, but are not limited to, boxing salsa as it comes off the line, moving boxes from the line to the cooling area, lidding jars, palletizing, sanitation, cleaning, responsible recycling, vegetable prep, and miscellaneous jobs in between runs.
The ideal candidate will be punctual, responsible, motivated, and a team player.
Must work well alone, as well as with others.
Chip Magnet Salsa offers holiday pay after one year, two days of PTO after six months, and five days of PTO after one year, as well as very flexible time off for mental health, medical appointments, family commitments, and illness.
This position includes regular reviews where raises will be considered, based on performance.
This position does not require past production experience; we are willing to train the right person from the ground up.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; must be able to walk back and forth from the line to the cooling area repeatedly during production; must be able to stand for two hours at a time.
Non-slip shoes are required; if you need to purchase non-slip shoes, you will be reimbursed for them after 90 days of employment.
To keep our workplace safe and avoid unnecessary shut-downs, the COVID-19 vaccination is required for all employees.
