IT Technician

$1000 SIGN-ON BONUS!!! Job Summary The IT Technician, under the guidance of the IT Manager, is responsible for support and maintenance of computer systems throughout the hospital.
The IT Technician will provide this support via phone or on-site and assist with any other related tasks and projects as needed at the hospital.
Hours: - 32 Hours Per Week - 4, 8-hour Shifts -Monday through Friday Essential Job Functions Provide support to end users by helping to identify computer problems and determining how to solve them Trains end users on the use of new hardware and software Monitor and evaluate the organization’s computer systems Troubleshoot network problems Act as a liaison between local users and Surgery Partners IT Perform set up, configuration, troubleshooting and repairing of computer workstations and other associated devices and equipment.
Assist IT Manager and Surgery Partners IT in maintaining open channels of communication regarding upcoming changes Answer support calls during business hours Participates in departmental staff and facility wide meetings Assures education is up to date and completed by the due date assigned Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrate effective communication skills with staff, leadership and physicians Participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement Maintain confidentiality of the patient’s medical record Comply with the facility Code of Conduct and departmental policies and procedures Must have strong time management skills and work productively with minimal supervision Ability to explain technical problems in laymen terms Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications.
