The *IT Specialist* plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks related to the implementation, maintenance, and support of technology solutions and equipment for all PUSH owned companies & divisions.

* *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Responsible for the efficient operation of all IT systems.
* Responsible for resolving IT problems that may arise and/or obtaining outside resources that may be needed.
* Responsible for leading IT projects as requested.
* Administers email - coordinates with vendors for needed technology and related services such as printer/copier maintenance.
* Provides network and server administration and oversight, including monitoring security and backup protocols.
* Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements.
* Provides telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users.
* Coordinates activities with network services and information systems groups.
* Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
* Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
* Monitor and inventory all office, field computers and tablets.
* Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
* Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, and printers on users' premises.
* Provides technical support to users for voice and phone systems, including updates, status, and completion information to managers and/or users, via voicemail, e-mail or in-person communication.
* Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
* Administrates the Google Workspace account, adds new users and set up account details, monitor groups, set, and control user and group access level(s) and anti-virus systems.
* Provides GIS support.
* Attends meetings to address and appropriately direct IT related issues.
Initiate actions and communicate with Administration in any unusual situations.
* Works with partner sites to ensure IT systems are connected and working appropriately.
* Works with Fleet Manager and DOT to set up reporting structures and monitor safe driving practices company wide.
* Assists the EHS department with data updates and monitoring of the company LMS system.
* Manages company wireless devices and MDM track usage and make needed changes to plan to reduce cost and avoid additional charges for data overages.
* Ensures data storage is safe and secure on all platforms we currently use while also seeking out and recommending new options.
* Monitors all shared Drive files to ensure compliance, and prepares reports as needed.
* Educates office and field staff about network security, work with coalition (cyber security) and developing company-specific best practices for computer usage.
Set up and monitor alerts.
* Other projects and functions, as assigned.
*Education and/or Experience:* * *Education:* High School education required, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* *Work Experience:* Five (5) years of experience in an IT Specialist role, or equivalent.
GIS experience is a plus, but not required.
Proven experience with IT support, network administration, and system maintenance.
* *Industry Knowledge: *Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security protocols.
*Requirements:* * Previous experience as an IT Specialist, or similar role.
