Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities:
The NP will serve as the clinical resource to provide care services for patients.
Professional responsibilities are carried out through direct patient care, clinical consultation, research, education, delegation, and administration.
The NP will serve as the lead clinician overseeing the patient’s plan of care in compliance with regulatory agencies.
The NP will function within the scope of his or her license.
Main responsibilities include: * Providing elective care for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, functional nutritional assessments, supplementation, thyroid function optimization, weight loss, stress reduction strategies, primary care medicine, and lifestyle coaching * Recording patient histories, symptoms, treatments, supplements, medication, education, and other necessary documentation requirements * Perform routine and detailed examinations * Prescribe medication, controlled substances, and supplement therapies * Order diagnostic lab tests and evaluate test results to determine underlying physiological reasons for patient symptoms * Diagnose medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans * Delegates and supervises nurses and other medical professionals * Educate patients and families about medical and treatment plans * Collaborate with all members of the patient’s care team to share knowledge, create treatment plans, and diagnose patients with unusual or difficult sets of symptoms * Performing procedures such as bio-identical hormone replacement pelleting, intravenous punctures, and other necessary procedures after training * Specialize in a wide range of medical categories such as adults, older adults, family practice, and specialized care Qualifications Education: (must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation) * Minimum Requirement: Master’s Degree * Preferred: Doctorate Degree Experience: * Preferred: Experience with bio-identical hormone therapy, weight loss, nutritional assessments, stress reduction, lifestyle coaching, and primary care.
Certifications/Licenses: * Minimum Requirement: Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner License, DEA Registration, Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) or higher, Biote training and certification within 3 months of hire We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team.
