Wade Family Eye Care, located in Northern Wisconsin is seeking to hire a full-time or part-time optometrist for their growing private practice.

Wade Family Eye Care is currently a two-doctor private practice who uses state of the art technology to provide patients with the best experience and results possible.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and detect eye diseases or abnormalities
- Prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments based on exam findings
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to the eyes
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including seniors and pediatric patients
- Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and treatments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient care
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation purposes (will train)
