Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Cardiology Cost Center: 301191038 Eau Claire-Cardiology-Prof Svc Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a skilled member of the allied health care team who is qualified both academically and clinically to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
The PA/NP works within a cooperative unit, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
Hours: Full-time Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm Primary Location: Eau Claire Clinic Clinic 80%, Hospital 10%, Procedures 10% JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Graduate of a nationally accredited PA/NPProgram.
Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Six months in specialty.
Preferred/Optional: One year in specialty.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc.

Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of PA/NP.
Must be eligible to obtain or already hold a current State of Wisconsin PA/NP licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
