What you will be doing: (responsibilities)
PESI is seeking a psychologist, mental health counselor or social worker who is passionate about engaging with other psychotherapists via social media.
The ideal candidate loves to inspire, is deeply curious, and feels energized by connecting with others and collaborating with a vibrant community of mental health professionals.
If you have social media experience and want to discuss important topics and leading issues in the field, as well as creatively share continuing education opportunities, this job is for you!
Lead and work alongside a social media team.
Further our mission of connecting knowledge with need on our social platforms through uplifting and thought-provoking posts, sharing our speaker and author experiences, promoting special offers and new products, and discussing psychotherapy news, important topics and leading issues.
Set up and optimize social content for both organic and paid efforts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, X.
Collaborate with respected experts in the field, internal and external partners.
Engage with readers and experiment with new forms of storytelling and voice.
Monitor content effectiveness.
Use analytics and data to make content decisions.
What you bring to the team: (skills and requirements)
Degree in psychology or behavioral health related-field; clinical experience is a Plus
2-3 years of professional social media experience (organic and/or paid) in the behavioral health area
Creative, passionate and ambitious, full of positivity and empathy, expressive and outgoing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively manage production schedules while meeting deadlines
Motivated to test different social strategies and learn new technologies
Excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment
What would thrill us:

Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics service
Experience with graphics editing and management, i.

This position is full time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
